Hewlett-Packard Company Soil and Groundwater Assessment, Remediation Engineering, and Monitoring Program

Project Summary:

Management of the soil and groundwater assessment, remediation engineering , and monitoring program at the Hewlett-Packard Company (HP), located in Palo Alto, California. Conducted soil and groundwater assessments, soil and groundwater remediation activities, large-scale groundwater monitoring events, and operations and maintenance activities for five large-scale groundwater extraction, and soil vapor extraction remediation systems at HP's commercial and industrial properties located throughout the Bay Area in California.

Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I ESA) at the Twitter offices and media headquarters.

Project Summary:

Behr Environmental conducted a Phase I ESA in conformance with the scope and limitation of the ASTM Practice E1527-13 on a industrial, and class-A commercial property, currently occupied by Twitter, located in Santa Monica, California.

Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (Phase II ESA) and Site Closure at a former UST site.

Project Summary:

Behr Environmental conducted a Phase II ESA , site closure was obtained, and the subject property was approved for commercial and residential redevelopment.  The subject property historical was utilized as an automotive fueling station and contained USTs. A subsurface geophysical survey was conducted to assess the potential for hsitorical USTs at the subject property. Soil sampling, groundwater sampling and soil vapor sampling were conducted under regulatory oversight, to further assess the subsurface at the subject property and potential impacts from the historical uses and USTs at the subject property. Sampling and reporting activities were completed in compliance with regulatory requirements, and the subject property was approved for commercial and residential redevelopment.
